The Foundation Conference of the International Association of Transport Colleges

On the 14th of September 2021 the foundation Conference of the International Association of Transport Colleges (IACT), organized by the St. Petersburg State University of Railways of Emperor Alexander I was held. The conference was attended by representatives of educational institutions of secondary vocational education of the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Armenia.

Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Railways of Emperor Alexander I A.Yu. Panychev and director of the St. Petersburg Technical School of Railway Transport E.I. Shekhtman made statements at the conference. During the conference, the Statute of the International Association of Transport Colleges was approved, the board was elected. Fifthly-six organizations of secondary vocational education became members of the International Association of Transport Colleges (43 from Russia, 4 from China, 3 from Kazakhstan, 3 from Belarus, 2 from Uzbekistan, 1 from Armenia).
